Accessibility statement

HowPets is run by JPLC Limited. We want everyone to be able to use www.howpets.com, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control or screen magnification.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. You should be able to:

• move around every page using only a keyboard, starting with a "Skip to main content" link

• zoom in up to 200% without text being cut off or needing to scroll sideways

• use the website on a phone or tablet

• listen to the website with a screen reader, with clear headings and text descriptions for images

Some parts of the website come from other companies, such as the spam check on our newsletter sign-up form and the cookie banner. We've chosen services that work with a keyboard and a screen reader, but we don't control how they're built.

Our links to Pet Database, Tailster and Pet Matcher take you to separate websites, which have their own accessibility information.

If you find something hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email support@howpets.com. Tell us the page address and what happened, and we'll get back to you within 5 working days.

We tested the website on 16 October 2026. We checked every page with automated accessibility testing at desktop and mobile sizes, then checked key pages using only a keyboard, at 200% zoom, at phone width and with the NVDA screen reader. We fixed the issues we found and checked the fixes on 19 October 2026.
